The document sequence below is based on ocean shipments. For air shipments, ocean-specific items such as the ISF are excluded and the shipment is processed on AWB/HAWB information.
Required Documents
Required- 1
Shipper's Letter of Instruction
Your instructions to the carrier for the shipment. It is the basis for drafting the Bill of Lading.

Commercial Invoice
The core document stating the transaction value and terms. Customs at destination uses it to assess duties.

Packing List
States quantity, weight and volume per package, enabling fast inspection and customs clearance.
Optional Documents

Certificate of Origin
Certifies where the goods were produced. Required to claim preferential (FTA) duty rates.
Free port — no duty benefit from a COO. A non-preferential COO (KCCI) is issued only when the consignee or an L/C requires it.

Dangerous Goods Declaration
Required only for dangerous goods, prepared under the IMDG Code.
Only if the cargo is classified as dangerous goods (IMDG).

SDS / MSDS
The latest Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) for dangerous, chemical, battery, liquid, powder, aerosol, paint, adhesive or otherwise regulated cargo. It must match the product actually shipped and is submitted together with the Dangerous Goods Declaration.
Required together with the DG Declaration when the cargo is dangerous or chemically regulated.

Korean export customs declaration, House B/L issuance, and carrier manifest / advance filings (such as ENS) are handled by us. This checklist only contains the documents we need from you.
